Niantic has just announced a special Catch Mastery event in Pokémon Go, which puts Archen, the First Bird Pokémon, in the spotlight. Running from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm local time on March 16th, this event focuses on Poké Ball-throwing skills and offers increased chances to encounter and catch Pokémon alongside their Shiny variants.
Throughout the Catch Mastery, Omanyte and Kabuto will appear more frequently in the wild, with boosted Shiny odds. On top of that, Shiny Archen will be easier to find, making this a great opportunity for collectors.
